Murray Ellis Updates on the Forthcoming Show
In just four weeks time we’ll all have enjoyed
Christmas, we’ll be in to a new year and we’ll be just one day away
from opening the doors for the 2012 Tullett Prebon London Boat
Show.
The Show is almost sold out now, with just
three berths left on the Used Boat Marina, a couple of spaces on
the Boardwalk and a limited amount of space in the halls – contact
the Sales Account Team on 01784 223618 for additional
space. The list of exhibitors continues to grow with
many key companies confirming their presence at the London show,
ready for 10 days of promotion and selling.
Almost 1000 boats will be on display
throughout the Show, with many sail and power boats making their
World, European and UK debuts. Advance ticket sales are going
well, as are the number of trade tickets being ordered by
exhibitors. If you haven’t ordered yours yet click
here.
We’ve also had the added bonus of the
announcement this week of the Luxury Lifestyle & Supercar
Showcase. This showcase will be located in the South Hall and
is a fantastic opportunity for the boating industry to show its
strength to a new audience. Up to 50 luxury brands will be
marketing the boat show to their customers and bringing them along
to ExCeL, which is a perfect target market for many of you.
This addition is part of our strategy that we adopted last year
with the introduction of complementary shows and products alongside
the boat show; and we saw the success of The Outdoors Show (which
continues this year) alongside the North Hall at the 2011 Show with
many boat show exhibitors benefiting from the additional 30,000
visitors. Let’s hope the Luxury Lifestyle & Supercar
Showcase has a similar effect.
If you’re not exhibiting with us in January I
really do hope that you continue to support the Show, come along,
or attend and take advantage of one of the BMF’s many member
events, seminars and networking opportunities. The Show is an
ideal selling platform to more than 100,000 boaters and high net
worth individuals at a quiet time of year; let’s all make it
successful. Remember the Show is put on by the industry for
the industry so let’s all give it collective support for the good
of the industry.
