Sea Vision UK
We are a member of Sea Vision UK, a forum which
brings together several marine organisations to work on areas of
common interest.
There are over 190 organizations from across the wider maritime
sector, at sea and ashore which have joined together in Sea Vision
UK of which Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal became the Sea
Vision patron.
Sea Vision UK is the national on-going campaign to raise
awareness of the sea, including the maritime sector in its widest
sense.
There are two objectives: to raise the profile of the maritime
sector with the general public and specifically to target awareness
among the young, the seed corn of our maritime future. But the
initiative goes beyond that – it sets a blueprint for co-operation
across the sector for the future.
Part of Sea Vision UK's work involves raising the profile of all
maritime careers.
