Situated on the River Severn, Upton Marina has extensive cruising opportunities with access to the Midlands canal network and for more adventurous cruising, head southwards to the Bristol Channel and open waters.
This well equipped, modern marina has just been awarded 4 Gold Anchors from The Yacht Harbour Association’s award winning Gold Anchor Scheme. This is a fantastic achievement, showing that inland marinas are worthy of competing with the larger marinas on the South Coast.
Julie Rawlings, Upton Marina’s Manager says: “We are very pleased that our efforts in providing excellent facilities and outstanding customer services have been recognised by the Gold Anchor Scheme; proving that Upton Marina continues to be an attractive location for boat owners.”
Julie and her team are extremely courteous and helpful, and take customer service to a new level. It was noted that they scored top marks in their mystery shop – the only marina to have done so under TYHA’s new Gold Anchor scheme.
