Following on from their success in 2011 British Marine Federation (BMF) member, Sealine have been awarded their second Gold Award for Safety from RoSPA - the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.

The prestigious award is part of the Occupational Health and Safety Awards for 2012 and is in recognition of the work Sealine have undertaken during the year and their continuing commitment to accident ill health and prevention.

The RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. The scheme does not just look at accident records, it also evaluates entrants’ overarching health & safety management systems, including important practices such as strong leadership and workforce involvement.

David Rawlins, awards manager at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), a safety charity with a 95 year history, said: “The RoSPA Awards Programme provides well-deserved recognition for the winners and spurs on other organisations to raise their standards of accident and ill health prevention. We congratulate Sealine International on their success and encourage them, and all our other winners to remain committed to safety and health, an approach that is not only good for its workers but also for the bottom line”

David Stretton, Manufacturing Director who collected the award on behalf of Sealine said: “Sealine has a history of quality and innovation when designing and building its range luxury motor boats. We apply the same innovation and focus to improving safety and we are very proud to have won this award for the second consecutive year. It demonstrates our unwavering drive for excellence in everything we do”

The Gold Award compliments Sealine’s accreditations to BS OHSAS 18001 Safety Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, both of which showcase the company’s modern approach to managing risk and environmental sustainability.
