The Make it in Great Britain ‘30 Under 30’ have been announced by Business Minister Mark Prisk and the BMF is delighted to congratulate Natalie Desty at Matchtech and Peter Legg at Pendennis Shipyard for being two of the chosen thirty.
These 30 rising stars of industry come from all walks of manufacturing and were selected by a panel of expert judges. All aged under 30, the finalists were selected for being true high-flyers, standing out from their peers and demonstrating passion, enthusiasm and ambition in their roles.
They will now go on to act as ambassadors for the Make it in Great Britain campaign, which aims to challenge outdated opinions and transform the image of modern manufacturing. They will have a special role in engaging with other young people, to ensure that the next generation is aware of the great jobs and careers in the industry.
