Intermediate Marina Managers Course Goes to Dubai

The British Marine Federation (BMF) and the Marina Industries Association (MIA) are jointly holding the internationally renowned Intermediate Marina Management Course (IMM) at the Dubai Marina Yacht Club in Dubai.
This four-day course is accredited by the Global Marina Institute (GMI) and is designed to provide marina personnel in a leadership position with fast-track training in the critical issues in marinas. It is also an essential course in a career path leading to the globally recognised Certified Marina Manager, Certified Marina Operator and Certified Marina Professional qualifications.
The course is aimed at managers, supervisors and foremen who have had at least one full year of experience working at this level.
Marina industry professionals and Certified Marina Manages will share their expertise and knowledge on a wide variety of topics including:
- Leadership Development
- Health and Safety and Emergency Management
- Budgeting and Accounting
- Environmental Management
- Maritime Law
- Customer Service
- Marketing
Each day is packed with a range of learning opportunities, including formal classes and lectures, informal discussions, field trip to nearby marinas, group projects, and marina/boatyard industry networking.

The cost of the Course is AED9250** for members of the BMF and MIA and AED12,250** for non-members. This fee includes the course fee, lunches, 2 x course dinners, course notes and field trip. The course does not include accommodation.
