The BMF Membership Committee Needs You
Published on 6/9/2012
The British Marine Federation (BMF) operates several established Committees which help tailor the services provided to members and stimulate new ideas and concepts to promote its members.
The BMF is seeking nominations for two places on the BMF Membership Committee, chaired by David Barrow of Barrow International. The committee role is wide reaching and focuses on the overall membership strategy and plans, including all aspects of recruitment and retention. The committee also influences the services provided to members and the requirements of membership, as outlined in the BMF Code of Practice.
Participation in the committee requires around four days a year of your time, and gives you the opportunity to get your voice heard. The committee needs to be fully representative of the membership and therefore we are looking for candidates specifically from manufacturing, electronics, hardware and services.
For more information or to apply, please contact Hayley James on 01784 223639 or email hjames@britishmarine.co.uk. Expressions of information should include your name, company name and a brief introduction about yourself and why you are particularly interested in joining the committee.
Deadline for nominations is Tuesday 18 September.
