This one day seminar will show how production boatbuilders can manufacture stronger, lighter and cost effective structures that comply with construction standards and environmental legislation using advanced composite materials and processes. The theme of Manufacturing for the Future aims to help the UK boatbuilding industry remain profitable and competitive.

A range of speakers from industry leading organisations will present examples of best practice and case studies in production boatbuilding including new design, process and tooling technologies and materials applications. The emphasis will be on staying competitive in international markets, with examples of what the competition is doing and how to meet the challenges.

The event will appeal to boatbuilders, designers, material suppliers and research organisations using composite materials in recreational and small commercial craft, and those involved with regulations, standards and certification for boat design and construction.

If you have not registered and would benefit from doing so this is a reminder.  There will be ample opportunities for discussion and networking.
