Last week saw the first two National Boat Shows roadshows take place in Southampton and ExCeL announcing exciting new plans and changes for the Show, including: new attractive pricing initiatives to attract more boats and more exhibitors, shorter opening hours, discounted week day tickets for visitors and a one price all day parking.

NBS can now bring you further news for the upcoming Tullett Prebon London Boat Show:

NEW – Nine day Show

The 2013 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show will open on Saturday 12 January through to Sunday 20 January. Now nine days, the Show kicks off on a busy Saturday, attracting bigger crowds for product launches and a great opening day atmosphere.

NEW – Show layout in South Hall

The 2013 Show will have a completely new layout with the entire Show being the full length of ExCeL’s South Hall. This will cover the whole of the old South Hall that we occupied when we first arrived in 2004, together with the new area provided by the extension that we used last year.

The new layout is designed to deliver more visitors to your stand, with boats spread throughout the Show; two main floor boardwalks for power and sail; OEMs, equipment, holidays and electronics exhibiting among the boat stand; a dedicated area for starter boats and dinghies; better access to the marina; and restricted access to the boulevard.

The roadshows were successfully received with a further eight companies confirming their presence at the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show.

Joining Fairline, Flexisail, Key Yachting with their sail and power brands J Boats, Grand Soleil and MJM Yachts, Mersea Trailers (MacGregor Yachts), Northshore, Princess Yachts, Roche Marine (Sea Bob) and Sunseeker are A Glaze Marine, Aura Yachting, Dometic, IPC Media, Renapur, Sailing Holidays, TCS Chandlery and Topper.

IPC Media, Richard Shead: “Having attended the recent NBS road show at London ExCeL it is clear to me that the NBS board have listened very closely to the concerns of both the exhibitor and visitor to the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show. What they are proposing is an event that will not only deliver the wide variety of exhibits the visitors want and indeed expect but in doing so will also deliver a qualified audience for exhibitors to sell to.”

TCS Chandlery Ltd, Rob Clay: “After attending the recent National Boat Shows (NBS) roadshow I am excited and optimistic for the new Tullett Prebon London Boat Show plans. It is encouraging that the NBS team have listened to comments and criticisms and acted by revamping the show layout and opening hours, offering incentives to bring boats back which should help entice more customers and a promise to market the show at all levels.”

Northshore, Ben Davies: “Northshore is confirmed to be back at the 2013 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show. We are excited about the new plans for the Show and look forward to being there with Southerly yachts.”

Flexisail, Sue Pierpoint: “We had a fantastic 2012 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show. We are very excited by the new plans for the 2013 Show and will definitely be attending, with a sail boat, on the boardwalk.”
