The British Marine Federation are required under the new Privacy & Electronic Communications 2003 (EC Directive) that came into force on 11 December to provide the following information for our website users.

1. This website uses session cookies only - Also called a transient cookie , a session cookie is erased when the user closes the Web browser . The session cookie is stored in temporary memory and is not retained after the browser is closed. Session cookies do not collect information from the user's computer. They typically will store information in the form of a session identification that does not personally identify the user.
2. Your user data will not be stored by the British Marine Federation through the use of cookies.
