Testimonials from
our Exhibitors
“During the course of the PSP Southampton
Boat Show so far and with the final weekend still to go we have
sold or have under offer an impressive 61 boats. Wednesday was
particularly good for us, which is great for us as the weekdays
were traditionally quieter. We’ve introduced a new stand design
which has worked well for us and have enjoyed a busy flow of
traffic throughout the Show. We’re also really pleased to have
signed up a number of new offices.”
Josh Flavell, Boatshed
“I have been enormously impressed by the
efforts of National Boat Show’s staff and the sponsors, PSP, in
delivering an outstanding Show, both from the perspective of the
exhibitors and from the boating public, which is no mean
achievement in these difficult times. There has been an exciting
and encouraging ‘buzz’ about the Show, helped of course by the very
good spell of weather we have enjoyed. The level of business we
have written has been on a par with last year and we are encouraged
by the amount of new business opportunities that exist. Well done
the Boat Show Team.”
John McCurdy OBE, Managing Director of Pantaenius UK
Ltd
“There has been a buoyant and confident
atmosphere in Ocean Hall; our confirmed sales at the Show are well
up on last year from new customers and from existing customers who
are either fitting out new boats or upgrading their current
boat.”
Caroline Oldham, Advanced Yacht Systems
“After the first weekend, we had booked
27 people in for sea trials. We’ve had a staggering amount of
interest, with people coming back to visit the stand two or three
times in one day. We’ve also had a lot of international interest
which is very pleasing. We are confident that a good percentage of
the trials in Plymouth will end in boat sales.”
