METS (Amsterdam,
Netherlands), 18-20 November 2008
A key marine equipment trade show
in Europe with a British Pavilion structure. In 2007 102 British
companies were part of the Pavilion. This show offers a great
opportunity for new to export companies to enter the international
market. 
Salon Nautique de Paris, 5-14
December 2008
1,200 exhibitors representing 1,500
brands will be in attendance at one of France's premier boat shows.
The BMF plans to visit the show.
Boot Dusseldorf, 17-25
January 2009
The 40th boot-Düsseldorf, the
world’s largest and most international indoor event for yachting
and watersports, will open its doors from 17 to 25 January 2009. An
anticipated 1,700 exhibitors will showcase their products and
services in 17 halls covering an area of 220,000 square metres of
exhibition space. The BMF will be exhibiting in hall 16 - the
main sailboat hall.

Seatec Italy, 5-7 February
2009
Seatec is the only exhibition in
Italy exclusively focused on boatyards and shipyards suppliers.
The presence of these two sectors
of the marine industry – two sectors increasingly exchanging and
overlapping – makes Seatec a unique appointment in Europe for
professionals to meet and establish business connections.
The BMF plans to build on its
presence last year at the show by exhibiting again in 2009. A
showcase is being put together for 6 companies to share the BMF

Mumbai International Boat Show, 19

Dubai International Boat
Show, 3 - 7 March 2009
This event is the largest boat show
in the Middle East region with a strong Superyacht element in this
developing market. The International Team organises a British
Pavilion under the banner of Superyacht UK.

Croatia Boat Show, 28 March - 5
April 2009
As undoubtedly the largest, best
organised and most dazzling regional event of this kind, the
Croatia Boat Show is a remarkable stage of the local and
international nautical industry, from yacht builders to engines and
equipment producers, as well as companies offering various
complementary goods and services to lovers of the sea and
sailing.
The BMF are planning to organise a
mission to the event visiting not only the show, but also local
yards. more information will be posted shortly.

Moscow International Boat Show, 9
- 12 April 2009
Over 15 years, MIBS Spring has
proved the ideal place to explore the Russian boat and yacht
market. As the show continues to expand, the increasing
popularity of water sports in Russia becomes more
apparent as well as companies recognition of the
opportunities available to ambitious suppliers from all around
the world.
MIBS Spring will feature
a large number of boat and yacht brands, as well
as many companies supplying parts and accessories to the
industry. More than 300 companies exhibited at MIBS
Spring 2008, representing 25 countries, including Russia,
UK, Turkey, Poland, Finland, etc.
The BMF plan to take a 36sqm stand
at the show, this will enable upto 6 companies to exhibit on the

Monaco Yacht Show, 23-26 September 2009
This is the only marine
trade show in the world with an exclusive Superyacht focus
(boats 24m and over). It is a forum for business professionals from
the Superyacht industry and the International Team organises a
British Pavilion structure under the Superyacht UK banner.
