The Olympic and Paralympic
Games offer an opportunity for the entire industry to promote
itself and demonstrate its value to the wider UK economy. However,
they also pose potential problems to an industry that relies so
heavily on a stable tourist economy for its
success.
The BMF have been working hard
internally, to try and identify these threats and opportunities and
much of that work can be seen on this part of the website.
This Games ‘toolkit’ is designed
to equip BMF members with the information they need to make the
games a success for their business. You will find information on
the BMF’s approach to the games, ways to
protect your business from branding
restrictions and even advice on how to
get involved. We will also be inviting you to contribute to the
content of the site, which will be evolving as the games get
closer.
