major international shows and set up inward and outward
missions to assist international trade. Below is a list of our
upcoming events for the calendar year 2010.

International Events 2010

Superyacht UK Tour of Excellence; March 16-19
2010
The well regarded tour will bring Superyacht professionals to
the south east and south west of England for a series of company
visits and networking events. One delegate quoted last year that
“this week as served as a real ‘British Flag Flyer’ further
demonstrating the increasing viability of the UK”. Ways for UK
companies to get involved are by either hosting a visit or
attending the networking showcases / dinners. For more information

Yard Tours – May & June 2010
In 2009 we visited Croatia and Turkey and
gained high level access to key yards and staff. The yard tours are
a very cost effective way to get introductions to those yards you
struggle to get into. Please watch for announcements on this site
for specific details.
Journalists Mission – June 2010
We are planning for a Journalists mission in
2010 and will be talking to key contributors from our February
Strategy Day onwards.
Korea Boat Show (Gyeonggi Province)
June 9-13 2010
The 2009 show and conference proved to be a good introduction to
the South East Asian market for several UK companies. There was
evidence of progress in local marina developments and the show also
provided access to a wider audience of South East Asian marine
industry contacts.
Monaco Yacht Show; Sept 22-25
2010 
This year 19 companies exhibited in the newly designed
Superyacht UK pavilion, located in the Darse Sud tent. On Thursday
24th September the British contingent brought the whole show to a
dramatic standstill when the Royal Air Force Red Arrows display
team blasted across the harbour.

Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show; October 28 - Nov 1
2010
Using the newly designed stand system to form a Superyacht UK
pavilion, we will again be based in the Yacht and Builders tent.

METS; November 16 - 18 2010
The UK pavilion at METS houses over 90 companies showcasing
the best Britain has to offer in terms of equipment for the marine
industry. METS is the largest marine trade show in the world and a
must for any British company looking to meet the worlds boat
buliders and distributors. Booking forms are available for the show
now and a €40 per sqm discount is available if booked before March
