The
ICOMIA
Global Boating Industry Statistics Book 2010 report is now
available.
The BMF has purchased the rights to the 2010 edition for the
benefit of its members. Normally a cost of €300, BMF Members
can obtain a copy for their own use for free - to download
use this link.
The report is an annual summary of data from 23 major marine
leisure markets in the world, estimated to represent over 90% of
the global sector. The report also contains trade data
for 35 countries, superyacht statistics, engine sales, and
some market surveys.
The 2008 and 2007 versions of the report are also available free
to BMF Members in the Archive area
(log in required).
Non-BMF Members can purchase a copy for €600 direct from
ICOMIA
Country Reports
Market overviews providing country
information and contacts are available on Brazil, China, Korea,
European Emerging Markets (Croatia, Poland, Russia, Slovenia,
Turkey, Ukraine),the Middle East, and on key superyacht
countries for BMF members only. Non members are asked to contact
cgrosscurth@britishmarine.co.uk to
obtain a copy (a small fee may apply).
A selection of UKTI commissioned
reports providing generic information on different
countries are available for both members and non-members to
download.
The International Development team at
BMF can provide further advice and information on
countries and provide opportunities for members to develop
their business across the world.
