As previously reported a number of steel
narrowboats suffering so-called micro-blistering to the paint
finish have caused concern and expense to owners and boatyards
alike. This guidance note offers some conclusions about what is now
known and precautions to take when painting. Further investigations
are ongoing and will be reported as more information is
available.
