INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW 2010
The Training Department of British Marine
Federation (BMF) hosted the annual Marine Industry Training
Conference during the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show
2010, where over 40 delegates from all over the UK (including
Cornwall College, Paragon Training, Southampton City
College and The National Sea Training Centre) met to keep
updated on and discussed key issues.
Delegates heard a number of presentations,
covering BMF activity, Marine Engineering NVQ Update, City &
Guilds Update, BTEC Qualifications and a View from the
Industry. After lunch, Nigel Saw, BMF Technical Manager,
gave the delegates a technical update on the RCD.
There was then time for the delegates to
update themselves on the latest marine industry developments, with
a walk around the Show.
