People are more confident now in making a booking with British Marine Leisure Boating member companies as all members abide to both British Marine Leisure Boating and British Marine Code of Conduct giving you added reassurance.

The role of British Marine Leisure Boating is to promote its members and provide services and advice to them. British Marine Leisure Boating is represented on various National Committees throughout the marine industry to safeguard both the interests of our members and you the consumer.

British Marine Leisure Boating is a group association within British Marine and is recognised by the Government, MCA ( Maritime and Coastguard Agency ) , RYA ( Royal Yachting Association ) and other agencies as the ‘National Body’

BMLB member companies offer better protection for the general public and higher standards within the marine industry. Our exclusively recognised BMLB Code of Conduct and BMLB Grievance Procedure are endorsed by The Trading Standards Institute.

All members will agree to abide to both our CoC and the British Marine Code of Practice (CoP). Each member must also fully comply with all statutory and regulatory legislation applicable to their business, products and services

BMLB Training companies offer fully MCA/RYA Coded and equipped vessels together with expert tuition for a comprehensive range of professionally organised courses for

  • shorebased theory
  • distant learning theory
  • own boat tuition

leading to internationally recognised RYA and MCA qualifications. Tuition by qualified experts offering a careful blend of serious instruction with fun. Training Centres use the latest technology combined with traditional skills to help students achieve their aims.

All Training Members must be RYA recognised prior to joining British Marine Leisure Boating.
