Boats 2020 presented by Southampton International Boat Show Ltd

British Marine is delighted to announce that Southampton International Boat Show Ltd will present Boats 2020 at Mayflower Park, Southampton from 11 – 20 September 2020. This outdoor and on the water event will be a not-for-profit showcase of boats and equipment. The health, safety and security of exhibitors, visitors and colleagues will be its number one priority.

Giant Strides is the next evolution of the Awakening the Giant Marine Tourism Strategy and was launched in a draft format for consultation in the Scottish Parliament on 15 November. The first strategy has raised the profile of our industry on many levels in Scotland, received significant industry support and has been key to delivering new infrastructure, training, jobs, community involvement and awareness of Scotland as an international marine tourism destination.

British Marine Scotland undertook a survey of British Marine members in Scotland earlier this year. The Summary Report of the responses reveals an optimistic, confident sector, with more than half the respondents experiencing increased business and two thirds of members having development plans they would like to progress over the next five years.
