British Marine's training team - Blue Davies, Chris Holmes and Liv Whetmore - have had a busy year to date and there is plenty more to come in the remaining months of 2018. Here is a quick update on some recent highlights of their work to support skills, training and career development across the British Marine membership.

The apprenticeship section of the British Marine website has been given a full update, to reflect all the detailed work that the team has been doing to support the creation and delivery of "fit-for-purpose" apprenticeship standards for the industry.
Take a look, because there's now a full update on the development of new marine apprenticeships and useful resources that can be accessed to find out more about the range of apprenticeships available within the industry, and resources that can assist in the delivery of the new marine apprenticeship standards.
Apprenticeships & Mentoring feature in Think Enterprise magazine
Check out the two-page spread (p. 14 - 15) in this month's issue of The Institute of Enterprise & Entrepreneurs' Think Enterprise magazine. British Marine features, detailing the wide array of work taking place to support the development and delivery of marine apprenticeships. It also highlights to value of good support for those individuals in an organisation responsible for mentoring an apprentice during their training.
