The ESFA has announced changes to the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) has made changes to the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) application rules. The rule changes will impact training providers and employers who use levy funds or government co-investment funds to deliver apprenticeship programmes. The rule changes will also impact on all training providers who access Apprenticeship Levy and Government co-investment funds in supporting employers deliver apprenticeship training and on-programme assessment.

These changes include the need for all sub-contractors to apply and become registered on the RoATP by August 2019. All training providers currently on the RoATP will need to re-apply during 2019. The RoATP will reopen for new registrations on 12 December 2018 and will remain open.
