The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IFATE) has organised consultation events in December to enable employers to review and comment on the outline content for the Maintenance, Installation and Repair (MIR) T Level Pathway and also for the Manufacturing, Processing and Control (MPC) Pathway. These together with the Design and Development Pathway will form the structure and content of the proposed Engineering and Manufacturing T Level which is planned to be available from 2022.

The Maintenance, Installation and Repair and Manufacturing, Process and Control T Levels will be delivered from 2022. IFATE will be running two events with key employers from the marine industry to review the draft outline content for these new qualifications. This is ahead of the final sign off by the Institute in early 2020. Your input at this stage would be highly valued and will help ensure that the reformed technical education system supports our skills challenges.

Please register your company's place, including location preference and attendance at one or both sessions, via this link by Monday 25 November 2019.
