Autumn is the time of year which should have been busy with shows including Scotland’s Boat Show, where British Marine Scotland is usually very active.
This year, COVID-19 restrictions mean that the usual face-to-face British Marine Scotland Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2020 and Meet the Trade Reception are going online. Members are invited to attend this first virtual British Marine Scotland Annual General Meeting at 4pm on Thursday 12 November.
Following the AGM, and building on the success of the Scottish TYHA Marina Networking Calls, members and non-members are also invited to join the first virtual Meet the Trade Reception.
This is usually an opportunity to relax at the end of the first day of Scotland’s Boat Show and catch up with British Marine and marine industry colleagues, over light refreshments, provided by British Marine Scotland.
The different format this year means attendees are invited to BYOB, crisps and snacks and join online at 4.20pm for an update from British Marine Chief Executive, Lesley Robinson and an update on the new Marine Tourism Strategy, Giant Strides.
The brief presentations will be followed by discussions around marine sector issues and opportunities moving forward.
