From yachts, dayboats and dinghies to foilers and folding boats there is a sailboat to suit all tastes and abilities at BOATS2020 this year.
Bavaria Yachts to be showcased by Clipper Marine
To excite cruisers and yachters, Clipper Marine is bringing both the new Bavaria C57 and the Bavaria Vision 42 to BOATS2020. The boats can be found on stands M212-218, the Bavaria C57 sets trends with its design in the style of a mega yacht. Offering perfect sailing characteristics in all wind and weather conditions, the long waterline is impressive as is its cruising speed. Luxury is not forgotten either with one of the biggest bathing platforms in its class.
The Bavaria Vision 42 is certainly one not to be missed either at BOATS2020 as visitors will be able to view the extraordinary, unique exterior and interior layout. Showing that a symmetrical cockpit doesn’t have to be the standard, the companionway from the cockpit to the saloon has been moved to starboard in the deck assembly, which opens up a whole range of exciting new possibilities.
RS Sailing joins the line-up
RS Sailing will also be exhibiting at BOATS2020 and are delighted to be speaking face to face with their loyal customers again and meet new sailors who have been inspired to get into our sport over the recent months.
Their outdoor stand (A010) will be showcasing the RS Quest, RS Zest, RS Neo, RS Tera and RS Aero. Additionally, the RS21 will be displayed on the water (M001A), allowing visitors the rare opportunity to see the RS21 afloat.
RS will be running their exclusive Boat Show offer, offering significant savings on the purchase of a new RS.
N’Fun at the Show
Built to ensure the ultimate sailing experience, the N’Fun 30 is a high quality, high performance 30-foot sailing boat – a perfect day sailer, performance racer or cruiser. The modern shape hull offers performance yet remains easy to handle and lightweight. The N’Fun 30 can be seen in Berth M011 at the show. Click here to see the video of the yacht in action.
Debut of ‘The Foiling Dinghy’ from Dynamic-Sailing
For those sailors who have always fancied taking to the air and trying out foiling, a visit to see ‘The Foiling Dinghy’ on Stand SB09 at BOATS2020 is essential. Visitors can also enter a free prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a day on the water in The Foiling Dinghy at either Carsington Sailing Club, in Ashbourne or Netley Sailing club in Hampshire.
The Foiling Dinghy has been designed by AST sailing technologies and is being sold in the UK by Dynamic Sailing. It is an easy to foil sailing dinghy, purpose built to foil with a dual foil system. It’s affordable, lightweight and easy to transport, launch and handle on land. The new dinghy is designed to be stable and forgiving in flight, yet exciting to sail, and aimed at the club sailor. Complexity is reduced to a minimum, with dual foils that are self-adjusting and self-tacking, giving it the ease of sailing as a Laser, the lightness of an Aero, and enables safe and fun foiling performance
Seahopper – to sail, to row, to motor, to enjoy
The classic range of versatile folding boats from Seahopper are coming to BOATS2020. They row beautifully, motor effortlessly with small petrol or electric outboards, and with a choice of sailing rig, boaters can enjoy the simple unstayed lug rig. For a more sparkling performance the full gunter rig is also an option.
The range at BOATS2020 on Stand SB03/04 will include the Scamp as a folding demonstrator, a lug rigged Lighter with a beautiful rope fender and a Gunter rigged Kondor with all the trimmings.
The health, safety and security of visitors is the number one priority during the show. We are working hard to ensure that everyone can enjoy themselves in a safe and happy environment. As such BOATS2020 is an outdoor event and has been specially developed to include all the necessary COVID-19 secure measures expected.
The show will be open between the 11– 20 September 2020. Tickets must be pre-booked at www.BOATS2020.co.uk. Tickets for Saturday 12 September have now sold out.
