Members encouraged to register to exhibit with British Marine at METSTRADE 2021

Following the METSTRADE announcement this month, British Marine would like to invite members to register their interest to exhibit within the British Pavilion and British Superyacht Cluster during this year’s show.
 
The show is scheduled to take place 16-18 November 2021, in Amsterdam at the RAI Exhibition Centre. The show organisers have released this year’s changes which include a one-off special layout.

The event, which is usually home to 12 halls, this year will utilise halls 1-7 covering the same sqm footprint as halls 1-12. This will result in a secure and easy way to navigate the show, putting exhibitor and visitor safety at the forefront.
 
British Marine will return to the show hosting the British Pavilion located in hall 3 and the British Superyacht Cluster in the Superyacht Pavilion located in hall 7. 
 
British Marine will manage and provide support to their members from registration to show break down. Once you have registered to exhibit at the show within the British Pavilion or British Superyacht Cluster, the RAI team will send your registration to British Marine who will provide you with a one stop shop for all your show needs. On the run up to the show, your dedicated account manager at British Marine will provide you with regular updates to ensure you do not miss any important deadlines. 

METSTRADE offer a shell scheme package, meaning your stand build is seamless and stress-free. Each stand comes with a pre-built structure, carpet, lighting, electricity, and furniture, so that you only need to arrange your graphics and any products you wish to display. British Marine also work with a preferred and trusted freight provider who ensures that the British Pavilion exhibitors have priority during show build up and break down. This allows members to manage their stand in a time-efficient manner.  

Exhibiting within the British Pavilion and Superyacht Pavilion with British Marine means that you will also benefit from the combined marketing effort of the two pavilions pre, during and post show. British Marine want to ensure we highlight to visitors the many excellent products and services that our members are exhibiting during the show and target the audience our members want to see. British Marine will work with the RAI team to agree a marketing package to ensure the British Pavilions are showcased to a wider audience.  

British Marine will also be exhibiting within the British Pavilion creating a central hub, where member exhibitors and visitors can make use of the stand meeting areas and refreshments. The British Marine team will be on hand throughout the show visiting members stands, offering knowledge and support which is especially important during this time.

In previous years, British Maine have organised a Meet the Buyer event, inviting international buyers and distributors to the British Pavilion to meet and connect with our members. This has been well received and attended in the past. Ensuring we can run the event in a COVID secure manner, we hope to provide an opportunity for members to come together again in 2021. 

The DAME Awards also takes place during the show and the UK have always had a strong representation highlighting British excellence and manufacturing.  British Marine are extremely proud of our members who are shortlisted and go on to win during the awards and highlight the achievements on an international level to press during the show.

During the registration process you have the opportunity to select which area you wish to exhibit in, i.e. British Pavilion. If you select the British Pavilion, you will then be asked if you are a British Marine member, please select ‘yes’ if you intend on retaining your membership for the full 2021/2022 membership year.

Please note: the British Marine membership years runs from 1st July 2021 - 30th June 2022.
 
During the registration process you also have the opportunity to add requests in the “notes“ section. Please highlight if you wish to retain your 2019 stand position and any changes regarding stand size or location. 

Please note; These are requests and not guaranteed but the British Marine team but they will try their utmost to accommodate requests.
 
British Marine will obtain the revised floor plan from the show organisers at the end of May ready for stand allocations to begin in July.

What will happen to my registration if METSTRADE 2021 cannot be held as an in-person show?

All registered METSTRADE 2021 exhibitors will receive an offer to roll over their registration into METSTRADE 2022 before October 1st, 2021. Those exhibitors who do not wish to roll over will receive a full refund of all amounts paid after December 1st, 2021. All registered METSTRADE 2021 exhibitors will receive an offer to be part of METSTRADE Connect.

My country has a travel ban. Under which circumstances can I cancel?

Non-European manufacturers will be able to appoint their authorised European distributor or representative as a back-up to man their stand at METSTRADE 2021. This will ensure that METSTRADE will remain the platform where the prime of top-notch marine products from all over the globe are exhibited. 

In the case that no distributor or representative is available we can offer the following possibility:

If the appropriate authorities in your country have travel restrictions which are still in place by September 1st, you will receive an offer to roll over your registration into METSTRADE 2021. If you do not wish to roll over you will receive a full refund of amounts paid after December 1st, 2021.
