The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) is hosting a series of consultation events as part of the Engineering and Manufacturing Route Review.
This includes the boatbuilding Apprenticeship Standard that British Marine and its members have developed and other Engineering and Manufacturing Apprenticeship Standards that British Marine members may use.
To ensure stakeholders at all levels across industry and education are equally represented, we are inviting employers, training providers and End-point assessment organisations interested in Engineering and Manufacturing and across all sectors to register to attend.
These five, free-to-register events offer all attendees a unique opportunity to shape the outcome of the route review and apprenticeship standards of the future. The fundamental aim is to ensure employers have a safe, competent and productive workforce and individuals enjoy purposeful, satisfying careers that begin with a high-quality apprenticeship.
Enginuity has agreed with IfATE a half-day event format designed to maximise attendee participation and minimise any disruption to the day-to-day operation of your business by ensuring that you are finished by 1pm
At each event, the Institute will provide a brief update to participants of work in progress but will mainly be there in a listening capacity. This allows you to share your thoughts and reflections on a sector which is evolving rapidly to meet the pace of change and industrial digitalisation.
The events themselves will take place at easily accessible locations up and down the country on the following dates. Click on the links to secure your place:
27/02/20 – Birmingham
05/03/20 – Newcastle
12/03/20 – London
17/03/20 – Bristol
24/03/20 – Manchester
Whilst attendance in person is encouraged (because it also provides an excellent networking opportunity), those who are unable to be there can still have their say via an online survey here.
You can find out more about the Engineering and Manufacturing Route Review on the Institute's website.
Questions about the events can be submitted directly via the dedicated event website or by emailing eventsupport@enginuity.org.
