I am a BSI National Expert, representing British Marine on ISO TC188 working groups re-drafting boat electrical standards used in the EU Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) and the UK’s Recreational Craft Regulations (RCR).
We offer marine electrical systems compliance assessments, design, and consulting to RCD requirements.
Boyde Marine is developing Wire Plan, a new softeware system for marine electricians which checks circuit compliance to relevant standards in the UK, EU, US and other markets.
