Lee Valley Regional Park Authority are looking for a motivated & ambitious individual to manage and lead our team at Lee Valley Marina, Springfield in Leyton, East London. Springfield is one of two marinas we have and part of the 26 mile long Lee Valley Regional Park. Sited on the lower reaches of the River in East London, the marina has 200 berths. Our Marina provides all marina services including moorings, boat repairs, boat craning and a well-stocked chandlery.

The position of Apprentice Claims Adjuster will involve training to handle claims from ‘cradle to grave’. You will be trained to set up, review and acknowledge First Notification of Loss (FNOL), gather evidence and consider policy wording/coverage determining if a claim is covered or not.

Time commitment: This is a part-time, year-round role worked flexibly via an annualised hours contract of 1,123 hours per year (21.6 hour per week). The Chief Skipper is responsible for vessel coding and safety, recruiting and organising the seasonal crew, provisioning and the ongoing victualing of the vessel, and timetabling for Silurian.

We are looking for 2 Part Time Dock Masters to provide cover for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, alternate weekends for a busy marina, and be available for occasional holiday cover as required. The hours would be based on a 3 day per fortnight shift. This is a long term role, not a seasonal position.
