With the launch of the new British Marine Sector Association awards programme, it is now the turn of the Commercial Marine and Passenger Boat Associations to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements, innovation, and dedication of their members.
These awards shine a light on the people and businesses driving progress from sustainability champions to trailblazing innovators and standout organisations leading the way.
Each association will honour three category winners, with all award winners to be announced during the highly anticipated joint conference on 15 January 2026 - 'Navigating Change: Safety, Sustainability & Innovation in Commercial and Passenger Boating'.
Award Categories
- Business of the Year - Recognising exceptional overall performance, leadership, customer satisfaction, and contribution to the marine industry.
- Sustainability Award - Recognising strong commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices across their operations.
- Product or Service of the Year - Recognising outstanding, innovative, or improved product or service that enhances the customer experience.
Whether you’re shaping new technologies, pushing environmental boundaries, or delivering exceptional service, this is your moment to gain recognition from across the sector.
How to Enter
The awards process has been designed to be simple, accessible, and member-led.
- Step 1: Members nominate themselves using the MS Form provided (and select the association they are entering). Make your nomination here.
- Step 2: Submit your entry by the deadline: 2 December 2025.
- Step 3: Once nominations close, Commercial Marine and Passenger Boat Association members will vote to determine the three winners per sector.
- Step 4: Winners will be revealed live at the Joint Commercial Marine & Passenger Boat Association Conference on 15 January 2026,
Between now and July 2026 participating sector associations will each recognise their own outstanding members. The series will culminate in a national celebration of excellence at the 2026 Southampton International Boat Show, where all sector winners will go head-to-head for top honours in the National Finals, held during Trade Tuesday.
