Integrated through a Raymarine Axiom 12 chartplotter’s dashboard app, this intuitive engine monitoring display helps captains and crew make informed and responsible decisions regarding fuel consumption while still enjoying the exceptional performance expected from a superyacht tender. Offering this level of awareness of performance versus fuel consumption signals a bold step forward for the industry’s transition towards more responsible marine travel.
For us, it’s not just about launching new tenders but creating new ways of thinking about them. With the Origin Series and its pioneering Eco-Interface, we’re demonstrating that luxury and responsibility can go hand in hand. For the first time, captains can see exactly how sustainably they are running their tender and actively reduce fuel consumption without compromising performance. It’s an exciting glimpse into the future of superyacht travel.
Oliver Browne Head of Product Development at Evene Tenders
The all-new range of superyacht tenders, which launched with the Evene Tenders Origin 57 and Evene Tenders Origin 71, is set to redefine the standards of luxury, performance, and environmental responsibility on the water. The Origin Series itself has been meticulously developed to elevate the journey between a superyacht and its destination. Every element reflects a balance of advanced engineering and sustainable thinking. The patented Petestep® hull channels spray energy to minimise hydrodynamic resistance, delivering a quieter, smoother ride with improved efficiency and stability. The distinctive hull also features Evene’s signature scallop detailing - a subtle design hallmark where form meets function.
Sustainability is embedded throughout, from cork decking sourced from regenerative forests to removable eco-upholstery made using Spradling’s Vestige fabric. Owners can select either traditional plank decking or a bespoke contour pattern inspired by Ordnance Survey coordinates, a nod to the company’s Oxfordshire roots. Both models are powered by YANMAR 4LV diesel engines approved for HVO 100 fuel, delivering a reduction in net CO₂ emissions of up to 97% compared to conventional diesel.
Alongside these innovations, Evene has revealed prototype flax fibre helm seats, developed with support from Innovate UK EDGE to explore more sustainable composite materials. Additional premium features include a Fusion audio system with six high-quality speakers, LED-illuminated footwells, a custom Evene steering wheel and boarding pole, and versatile deck mounts capable of carrying accessories such as mountain bikes.
Created to order and offering extensive customisation options - from bespoke finishes and colour palettes to yacht branding - the Origin Series brings together artistry, innovation and responsibility to set a new benchmark in superyacht tender design. For founders Mathew and John Hornsby, the creative force behind Williams Jet Tenders, the launch represents the culmination of years of vision and craftsmanship, and a confident step towards a cleaner future for luxury marine travel.
