25 November 2025

The UK’s commercial marine and passenger boating community is gearing up for one of the most anticipated sector events of the year - “Navigating Change: Safety, Sustainability & Innovation in Commercial and Passenger Boating” 2026 Conference

Taking place on Thursday 15 January 2026 at the prestigious RNLI Headquarters in Poole, this full-day conference promises a dynamic mix of insight, innovation, and industry collaboration.

Hosted by the British Marine Passenger Boat Association and the Commercial Marine Association, the event will bring together regulators, operators, technical experts, and leading marine professionals to explore how the sector can adapt and thrive in an era of rapid change.

A must-attend event

Set within the RNLI’s world-class headquarters, attendees will enjoy a programme designed not just to inform;  but to inspire.

The morning opens with fresh coffee, tea, and warm pastries before delegates take their seats for thought-provoking talks from key industry authorities. Mid-morning refreshments offer a chance to recharge and network between sessions.

A seasonal, locally sourced two-course fork buffet awaits at lunchtime, offering vibrant salads, hearty dishes, and indulgent desserts — perfect fuel for an afternoon of insights and exploration.

Later in the day, guests will be treated to an exclusive guided tour of the RNLI HQ, complete with homemade cake and refreshments, offering a rare glimpse into the lifesaving organisation’s operations.

The conference concludes with a relaxed networking drinks reception — an ideal opportunity to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and build new partnerships.
