British Marine Members to showcase the best of British at Metstrade 2025
30 October 2025

Championing UK innovation, services & technologies on the international stage

British Marine members are once again preparing to make an impact at Metstrade, the world’s largest trade show for the marine equipment industry, taking place in Amsterdam from 18-20 November 2025. This year, 36 British Marine member companies will feature in the British Pavilion in Hall 3, with an additional five members taking prominent positions in the Superyacht UK Pavillion Hall 8, located within the enhanced Superyacht Zone. Together, they will showcase the cutting-edge innovations, services and technologies that continue to position the UK as a global leader in the marine sector.

Metstrade is an unmissable event for our members. It's the ideal platform for them to connect with key international stakeholders, forge new partnerships, and drive business growth. This show is critical for the industry, as it brings together the latest marine equipment, technologies, and trends from across the world, making it a hub of inspiration and opportunity.

Lesley Robinson CEO at British Marine

Located at stand 03.221 in the heart of the British Pavilion, the British Marine stand will once again act as a central networking hub for members, stakeholders, and international visitors. The British Marine team, including CEO, Lesley Robinson and President-Elect, Lyndsay McClay, will be on-site to support members, facilitate introductions, and provide guidance throughout the event.

While over in the revamped Superyacht Zone (Halls 8-10) members of Superyacht UK will be represented in Hall 8. This presence offers a valuable focal point for conversations with members, global partners, and stakeholders, reinforcing Superyacht UK’s commitment to elevating the UK’s profile and influence across the superyacht supply chain worldwide.

Throughout the show, hosted on the Phoenix Marine stand (08.441), Superyacht UK Manager, Michael Beattie, will be available for meetings and industry engagement.

While Ken Hickling, Vice Chair of Superyacht UK, will also lead a session on the Superyacht Stage on Wednesday 19 November at 14:15, focusing on how the latest innovations are enhancing the superyachting experience. He will explore how Superyacht UK members are integrating new technological solutions across superyacht design, build, and operation to elevate performance, sustainability, and the overall guest experience.

Complementing the business and trade opportunities, British Marine will host a networking reception on its stand on Wednesday 19 November from 17.00 - providing an informal forum for members and guests to exchange insights, strengthen partnerships, and explore future collaborations. Superyacht UK will also bring Pavilion exhibitors together for a dedicated breakfast on Wednesday 19 November (details to be confirmed). The breakfast will provide an excellent opportunity for SYUK exhibitors to connect, helping to strengthen collaboration and enhance the collective impact of the UK’s presence within the Superyacht Zone.

Metstrade however isn’t just about showcasing products; it’s a key event for celebrating the very best in marine innovation. The prestigious DAME Awards, set to be announced following the Metstrade Breakfast Briefing on Tuesday 18 November, will recognise excellence in marine design across eight categories, from deck equipment to navigation & communication, electronic & electrical systems to onboard facilities, comfort & entertainment. Among the shortlisted 67 products from 37 countries are several British Marine members, including Energy Solutions, Hempel,  Garmin, Raymarine, Scanstrut, Henri-Lloyd and Volvo Penta, demonstrating the ingenuity in product development by British Marine members.

This year also marks an evolution for the Boat Builder Awards, which will take place at a new purpose-built venue, Harbour 8, on Wednesday 19 November. With six award categories, including the highly regarded Lifetime Achievement Award, the event celebrates excellence across global boatbuilding and its supply chain. Among the shortlisted companies are British Marine members X-Yachts, Volvo Penta, Garmin, and Beneteau, alongside individuals from Williams Jet Tenders, Princess Yachts, Sunseeker International and Beneteau Group nominated in the Rising Star and Lifetime Achievement categories.

We are incredibly proud of our members who have been shortlisted for both the DAME and Boat Builder Awards. Their commitment to innovation, quality, and excellence continues to strengthen the UK’s global reputation and reflects the outstanding talent within our sector.

Another highlight of the show will be the return of Women in the Marine Industry International, taking place on the Metstrade Stage on Wednesday 19 November. Now in its fourth year, the event is hosted in partnership with British Marine, METSTRADE, Soundings Trade Only, and Marine Industry News. Under the 2025 theme, ‘Navigating Today’s Global Market’, a distinguished panel of international female leaders will explore shifting consumer expectations, the pace of technological change, supply-chain challenges, and new opportunities for growth — with a focus on leadership, resilience, and cross-industry collaboration.

Moderated by Michele Goldsmith, Vice President and General Manager of Soundings Trade Only Group, the panel will feature Áine Denari, Executive Vice President and President of Navico Group and Chief Technology Officer, Brunswick Corporation; Andrea Tetto, Director, Marine Business Planning, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit; Tanja Lutz, Director of EMEA Sales & Service, Seakeeper; and Sylvie Ernoult, Show Director, Cannes Yachting Festival.

The event will run from 08:30–10:30 (doors open 08:15) and includes a complimentary breakfast, panel discussion, and networking. Attendance is free for anyone with a Metstrade ticket, and all genders are welcome.

Women in the Marine Industry International has become a key fixture in the Metstrade programme, and continues to play a vital role in representation, visibility, and positive change within our sector. We are delighted to co-host this event once again, bringing together inspirational voices from across the globe to share experiences, insights, and leadership that will help shape the future of the marine industry.
