Argo Engineering announces relocation to larger, waterfront office at Hythe Marina Village
26 September 2025

This month marks a significant milestone for Argo Engineering, as the company announces its relocation to a larger, waterfront office at Hythe Marina Village.

Founded in 2016, Argo Engineering has built a strong reputation for integrity, technical excellence, and independent consultancy.  Now a team of 13, led by Director Simon Walley, the move to a larger office within Hythe Marina Village reflects the company’s continued expansion and its commitment to providing an enhanced collaborative working environment for its growing team.

From humble beginnings, Argo Engineering's ninth year in business has been busier than ever, contributing to the success of a diverse range of high-profile projects across the marine and renewable sectors. Recent highlights include structural design and manufacturing support for Ocean Infinity’s pioneering NeedleFish Uncrewed Surface Vessel, structural engineering input for Smart Green Shipping’s rigid wing sail system, and composite engineering for a custom lifting foundation for a superyacht project in collaboration with Superyacht Tenders & Toys. These projects exemplify the breadth of expertise within Argo Engineering’s multidisciplinary team and the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

Moving into a new space is a big step forward for the company and gives us the room to meet our expansion goals.

Simon Walley

Looking ahead to the autumn season, the Argo Engineering team will be attending several major industry events, including the Southampton International Boat Show, Monaco Yacht Show, Advanced Engineering Show, and Metstrade. The team welcomes enquiries from prospective clients and looks forward to discussing new and upcoming projects.
