As part of its 150th Anniversary celebrations, the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) is launching a brand-new 12-part podcast series with the first episode live on Tuesday 23 September.
Titled ‘The RYA 150 Podcast‘, episodes feature in depth conversations - bringing together the people, places and standout moments that have defined boating over the last century and a half.
From legendary Olympic victories to the devastating storm that reshaped sailing safety, from pioneering women breaking barriers to the cutting-edge technologies transforming the sport – the series dives into stories that have shaped sailing and inspired generations.
Hosted by record-breaking British yachtswoman Dee Caffari MBE, each episode features powerful conversations, behind-the-scenes insights and first-hand accounts you won’t hear anywhere else.

A new episode will be available every week via all major podcast platforms – including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music – as well as on the RYA’s website at www.rya.org.uk/about-us/150-years/150-podcast. Full video episodes will also be released on YouTube, with weekly highlight reels shared across the RYA’s social channels.
