Taking place on Wednesday 10 June 2026, from 12:00–13:00, the event will be held in Hall 3 at the Workboat Association Pavilion during Seawork. Delivered jointly by British Marine and the Workboat Association, in partnership with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), the lunch brings together industry and defence in an informal and collaborative environment.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with MoD purchasers, gain insight into how to become a supplier to defence, and explore opportunities across the maritime skills and supply chain. The session is designed to encourage meaningful conversations, idea sharing, and relationship building across the sector.
In addition to networking, the event will include a high‑level briefing from the Naval Regional Commander, offering valuable strategic insight into current priorities, future capability needs, and how industry can best engage with defence to support operational requirements.
The event is free to attend, with lunch and refreshments provided, making it an accessible and welcoming setting for businesses of all sizes, from established suppliers to those new to working with the MoD.
