Following the success of its Metstrain initiative in 2025, Metstrade is pleased to announce its return for the 2026 edition, with a limited number of early bird tickets available now. Providing an accessible and sustainable method of travel, Metstrain creates an opportunity for networking and collaboration before the show even starts.
Metstrain will feature a private carriage in the Eurostar, running from London to Amsterdam. It is ideal for those based in the UK looking for a more relaxed journey to the show, while maximising networking opportunities. Travellers can expect a smooth, productive, and enjoyable journey to the world’s most influential leisure marine trade event.
Metstrain will depart from London St Pancras International on Monday 16th November, and arrive into Amsterdam Central Station, allowing delegates time to explore the city before the show starts on Tuesday 17th November.
There are also no weight limits to worry about, as travellers will be able to take as much luggage onboard as they can carry.
A dedicated travel coordinator will be on hand throughout the trip, and all guests will receive a complimentary lunch package and an official show catalogue.
The Eurostar carriage is exclusively reserved for Metstrade attendees, creating the perfect setting to connect with like-minded marine professionals. To make the experience even more enjoyable, curated onboard entertainment will be available.
A Metstrain ticket will include:
We’re excited to bring back Metstrain for 2026, offering our UK delegates a smoother, greener, and more connected way to travel to Metstrade. Following the fantastic response in 2025, this year’s dedicated Eurostar carriage once again transforms the journey from London to Amsterdam into an extension of the show itself, where valuable conversations, new connections, and a sense of shared purpose begin before visitors even arrive. With early bird tickets now available, we look forward to welcoming attendees onboard for a relaxed, sustainable, and truly memorable start to their Metstrade experience.
Niels Klarenbeek Director at MetstradeMetstrain is proud to have the support of key partners in the leisure marine industry, who recognise the benefit of sustainable travel, including The Magenta Project, IBI, McKenna Townsend and Marine Impact Lab.
