Epoq Business Bulletin - keeping you ahead of employment law changes
17 February 2026

Did you know that as a British Marine member, you have access to a regularly updated Business Bulletin through our legal partner Epoq?

When new legislation comes into force such as recent changes to employment law – members often contact us to ask whether guidance or template contracts will be issued. The good news is that much of this support is already available via the Business Bulletin.

What is the Business Bulletin?

The Business Bulletin is hosted on the Epoq website and is:

  • Updated monthly, or more frequently if there are regulatory changes
  • Designed to keep members informed of new and upcoming legal developments
  • Clear about what changes are required and how they affect your business
  • Supported by updates to relevant documents and guidance notes

Members can visit the Business Bulletin page to access a growing library of articles covering current legal updates. Each article outlines the implications of the change and explains that required amendments to documents and templates will be made accordingly.

Why this matters to your business

Employment law is evolving at pace. Having up-to-date contracts, policies and guidance is essential for protecting your business and remaining compliant.

Rather than waiting for separate communications, members are encouraged to regularly check the Business Bulletin to stay informed of the latest updates and ensure their documentation reflects current legislation.

It’s one of the many member benefits that remains underutilised – and a simple way to stay ahead of change with confidence.
