Scanstrut has been awarded the internationally renowned iF DESIGN AWARD 2026, recognising the Ventura Series for outstanding product design.

Presented by the independent iF Design Foundation, the award is a global benchmark for innovation and design excellence. The Ventura Series received the honour in the Product Design discipline, Automobiles category, recognising its robust engineering, seamless OEM integration and cohesive, premium aesthetic.

Fellow 2026 winners included globally recognised brands such as Ferrari, Volvo, Thule, Nissan, and Mazda, placing Scanstrut alongside some of the most respected names in global vehicle design.

Selected from more than 10,000 submissions across 68 countries, the Ventura Series stood out to an international jury of 129 independent design experts for its innovation, functionality and aesthetic integrity.

The Ventura Series builds on a strong marine engineering heritage. With IP68 and IP69K waterproof protection, marine-grade 316 stainless steel hardware and UV-resistant materials, it is equally suited to demanding marine environments, from RIBs and centre consoles to larger cruising yachts.

By bridging automotive and marine sectors, Ventura demonstrates the ability to transfer proven marine engineering principles into the fast-growing RV and overland markets, while also offering boat builders a refined solution for consistent exterior utility integration.

Originally developed for RV, overland and van conversion manufacturers, the Ventura Series delivers a unified portfolio of compact exterior utility sockets, including 12V power, USB-C charging, solar inputs, a water outlet, TV and AC power connections, all engineered within a consistent, low-profile form factor for streamlined integration.

Winning the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 reinforces Scanstrut’s position as a global leader in outdoor technologies and highlights the Ventura Series as one of the most accomplished crossover product designs in its field.
