Alongside her Moth campaign, Rogers will also continue racing in the foiling Switch class, maintaining her focus on high-performance foiling disciplines. Looking further ahead, she has her sights firmly set on the ambition of being selected for the British Team Puig Women’s America’s Cup squad for the 38th America’s Cup.
From 2026, Rogers will be based at Lymington Yacht Haven, one of the UK’s premier marinas, located in her hometown of Lymington. The move marks an important step in her professional programme as she consolidates her training, logistics and competition schedule from one of the country’s leading sailing hubs.
Rogers’ sailing journey began at Salterns Sailing Club, Lymington, and progressed through the highly regarded Wednesday Junior Sailing Programme at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club. Since then, she has established herself as one of Britain’s most exciting young sailors, claiming multiple World, European and National titles in the Moth, Switch and WASZP foiling dinghy classes.
In 2024, Rogers was selected for the British squad competing in both the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup and the Puig Women’s America’s Cup at the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona, finishing second and third respectively. These campaigns also provided invaluable experience within elite America’s Cup team environments which Rogers hopes to build upon in 2026 and beyond.
Sailing excellence runs deep in the Rogers family. Her grandfather founded Jeremy Rogers Limited, renowned for building the iconic Contessa yachts, while her uncle, Nick Rogers, is a double Olympic silver medallist. Outside of her racing schedule, Hattie applies her Ship Science Engineering degree from the University of Southampton by supporting her father, Simon Rogers, in the family business.
Lymington Yacht Haven will be my home in between training and events, whether that be at my facility doing boat work or around and about at Jeremy Rogers Limited, my family’s business, where I am spending an increasing amount of time when time permits. Being based in this hub of activity, gives me close and direct access to a wonderful boat yard with exceptional people.
Hattie Rogers
Through her growing sailing accomplishments as well as her close ties to Jeremy Rogers business at Lymington, we’ve witnessed Hattie’s career grow enormously in recent years. It was therefore the perfect opportunity to provide Hattie with a long term base for her boats and training, providing Hattie with a professional base to support her career.
