Taking place from 18–19 July 2026 at the Royal Southern Yacht Club in Hamble, the J Cup will welcome J/Boats owners and crews from across the UK for a weekend of close one-design racing, competitive IRC fleets and a vibrant social programme ashore.
Recognised as one of the UK's leading one-design keelboat events, the J Cup has become a highlight of the sailing calendar, combining high-quality racing with a welcoming atmosphere that attracts both experienced amateur and professional sailors.
The 2026 regatta will also incorporate the J/111 UK National Championship, with the class enjoying an additional day of adrenalin-fuelled racing from Friday 17 July to Sunday 19 July.
As part of its continued support, MDL Marinas will once again provide every competitor with the iconic J Cup cap, a long-standing tradition that has become a favourite keepsake among sailors.
To make travelling to the regatta even easier, MDL Marinas is offering J Cup competitors a 10% discount on visitor berthing at Hamble Point Marina, Port Hamble Marina and Mercury Yacht Harbour throughout the event. Competitors travelling with family and friends can also enjoy nearby accommodation at Mercury Holiday Park, located just minutes from the regatta.
