Registration is now open for the fifth annual Women in the Marine Industry International Panel & Networking Breakfast, taking place at Metstrade 2026 on Wednesday 18 November.
Celebrating its five-year anniversary, Women in the Marine Industry International has become an established fixture of the global marine calendar. Hosted by British Marine, Metstrade, Soundings Trade Only and Marine Industry News, the annual event brings together the women shaping the marine industry, alongside their allies, to share ideas, inspire change and build meaningful professional connections across the international sector.
As the marine industry continues to evolve through technological innovation, changing workforce expectations and global economic challenges, this year's panel will focus on the theme: “Future of the Marine Workplace: Building the Next Generation of Leaders”, examining how businesses can develop future leaders, nurture talent, embrace diverse perspectives and create workplaces where the next generation can thrive.
Bringing together a panel of internationally recognised female leaders from across the marine industry, attendees can expect an engaging conversation combining professional expertise, personal experiences and practical insights that will resonate with businesses of every size.
Look out for details of this year’s panel of speakers to be announced in the coming weeks.
More than a panel discussion, Women in the Marine Industry International has become known for creating an open, welcoming environment where professionals from across every area of the marine industry can connect, exchange ideas and expand their professional networks before the exhibition opens.
Women and men at every stage of their careers are encouraged to attend, from those just entering the industry to experienced professionals and business leaders. Whether you're looking to develop your own career, gain fresh perspectives or expand your professional network, the event offers valuable insights and conversations for everyone working in the marine sector.
With complimentary breakfast and refreshments provided, guests are encouraged to arrive early to network before the discussion begins and make the most of one of Metstrade's most popular networking opportunities.
Women in the Marine Industry International has become much more than a networking breakfast. It has evolved into an international forum where people come together to share experiences, challenge thinking and inspire positive change across our industry. This year's theme couldn't be more timely. Developing future leaders is essential to ensuring the long-term success of our sector, and we look forward to welcoming another outstanding panel of speakers and a global audience to continue these important conversations.

Women in the Marine Industry International also continues to proudly support Room to Read, a global charity focused on children’s literacy and girls’ education. Building on the success of May’s Global Women’s Walk, which saw marine professionals raise awareness and vital funds, this year’s event keeps the momentum going.
This year we have an audacious goal to raise $25,000 to support an entire school! Attendees are invited to join the cause and help change lives through the power of education.
Together, we’re making a difference - one step, one voice, one girl at a time.
The 2026 speaker line-up will be announced soon, but in the meantime, mark your calendar, secure your place, and be part of a morning that promises to inform, empower, and connect.
