Sarah Wallbank, CEO of August Race Group and Chair of British Marine South West awarded Fellowship of The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade
5 March 2026

Sarah Wallbank, Chief Executive Officer of August Race Group and Chair of British Marine South West has been awarded a Fellowship of The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade, recognising her contribution to international trade and export development.

The Fellowship is one of the Institute’s highest honours and is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated significant achievement and leadership in international trade, global commerce and export development. Fellows join a distinguished community of business leaders, policymakers and trade specialists working to advance international trade standards and support global economic growth.

I’m absolutely delighted to say I have been awarded a Fellowship from The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade. It is a privilege to be joining such a distinguished group of Fellows who have made such significant contributions to international trade. I still remember the first international shipment leaving August Race over a decade ago and the trepidation that everything had been done correctly. I was fortunate to have a great team around me who gave me the confidence to do it, which serves as a reminder that achievements like this are always a group effort. My thanks to Director General Marco Forgione and the team. I look forward to playing an active role in the Fellowship community and to engaging with the Institute as it continues to shape and strengthen global trade.
