The first of four dedicated excursions this summer supporting the Cornwall Wildlife Trust with vital conservation projects is already sold out, but there are still more adventures available.
The One Atlantek Discovery 8 will be equipped with twin Yamaha 200hp engines, Garmin MFD screens and radar system, alongside both a landing and swim ladder, providing instant and safe access to the shoreline and surrounding waters. Guests can also enjoy YETI coolers and onboard sink in the wet bar, as well as and make use of the onboard heads compartment. It also features an upgraded sound system, LED light bar on the roof, a transom shower, colour selectable lighting throughout, a roof rack for carrying paddle boards and other adventure equipment, and a cover to provide shelter when on the water.
The Arksen 8 has been selected for adventures throughout the stunning Cornish coastline and beyond, including the Isles of Scilly and its 140 islands, home to an abundance of wildlife and history. Customers will also be able to book the Arksen 8 for coasteering (a cross between rock pooling and an obstacle course) and surf adventures.
One Atlantek is also working closely with Cornwall Wildlife Trust to build completely unique experiences focused on working with experts in different areas of marine science and hospitality - making a positive difference whilst having fun. A number of ‘Citizen Science Activities’ will be delivered in St Austell Bay to directly support Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s ongoing marine conservation work, particularly across seagrass meadows and maerl beds, two of the most important and vulnerable habitats in the UK. This activity aligns perfectly with Arksen’s charity ‘10% for the Ocean’ which advocates for the protection of marine life and responsible exploration.
The ocean, and everything in it, is vital for life on earth. At Arksen we believe that while the tools we build are essential, what truly defines us is the spirit in which they are used. We foster a deep-rooted commitment to environmental stewardship and encourage owners and explorers to use their journeys as a platform for marine research and rejuvenation.
