British Marine is delighted to announce that voting is now open for the Boatbuilders and Boat Retailers & Brokers Associations' Sector Awards, a new initiative celebrating excellence, professionalism and impact across the sector.

The nominations phase has now closed and the shortlisted nominees have been confirmed. Members of both the Boat Retailers & Brokers Association (BRBA) and the Boatbuilders Association (BBA) are invited to review the shortlisted entries and take part in the voting process.

Members should have received an email showcasing the inspiring testimonials from this year’s finalists. We encourage you to read them and have your say, as these fully member‑voted awards rely on your votes to celebrate excellence and best practice across the sector.

The three category winners from each association will be announced via MarineTalk in June 2026.

Each category winner will then go on to represent the sector at the British Marine National Awards, taking place during the British Marine Trades Association (BMTA) Awards Dinner on 21 September 2026, hosted at Voco Southampton by IHG. This offers an excellent opportunity for winning businesses to gain recognition on a national stage and raise their profiles across the wider marine industry.
