New at this year’s Genoa Boat Show, Honda Marine Europe unveiled the exclusive 4XC FRP range, a refined integrated boat-engine solution developed in partnership with Italian boatbuilder BMA.

Visitors to the show got a first look at the new generation of Honda-powered boats at the modern Waterfront di Levante venue and took up the opportunity to book a sea trial and experience the power, balance and handling for themselves.

The Honda Marine-BMA series features 7 models, ranging from the 5.88m H188 Open Center Console up to the 9.10m H299 Cabin Sundeck.

Seamlessly combining Honda Marine’s outboard engineering technology with BMA’s innovative design, each model is matched specifically to Honda outboard engines spanning from the BF40E up to the twin BF300s.

The introduction of the 7 new FRP models expands the Honda Marine 4XC Design range, a concept signifying ‘For Excellence’, born from Honda Marine’s mission to deliver factory-matched boat-engine packages which are engineered and designed as one.

The BMA collaboration represents a milestone step forward in the evolution of the 4XC project, with Honda Marine branding introduced on the hull for the first time and a redesigned BMA logo marking the exclusivity of the package.

The 4XC FRP range is an exclusive line-up for Honda engines and will be available from November through the Honda network only, with servicing, warranty and aftersales support available for customers across Honda’s Europe-wide dealer network.

Our goal was to create a unified product identity that would allow the boat and the Honda outboard to be perceived as one complete product. By bringing together BMA's expertise in boat design and Honda's distinctive design DNA through a cohesive design language, we achieved a seamless integration of the boat and propulsion system. The result is a refined and distinctive presence on the water, delivering a premium and engaging customer experience.

Born from the perfect synergy between engine and boat, the 4XC concept has already set new standards in combining high performance with distinctive design to deliver unique benefits for all boat lovers. We are excited to continue the story through our expanded strategic partnership with BMA and proud that the new FRP range will carry the Honda Marine brand on the hull for the first time. At the centre of the 4XC FRP range is the idea of a complete, customised and integrated boating experience which remains true to the ‘For Excellence’ standard, with an optimised BMA design that aligns perfectly with Honda engines and the needs of today’s customers.
