Tack and Jibe extend Broker offer following Southampton International Boat Show success
13 October 2026

Following a successful ten days at Southampton International Boat Show, Tack and Jibe are extending their broker offer until 31 October: 12 months for the price of eight, plus early access and preferential launch rates for First Mate CRM.

Two years ago, we attended Southampton International Boat Show for a single day as visitors. Last year, we returned for three days. This year, we co-exhibited with our broker client SWUK Marine for the full ten days, and the response exceeded our expectations.

We left with five new broker clients joining Tack and Jibe, more than ten further broker conversations underway, at least three website build projects and two app build projects. We also established three new partnerships across services we plan to bring into our platform, alongside new user registrations during and after the show.

For us, Southampton delivered visibility, market exposure and meaningful business opportunities. It also gave us something that is difficult to replicate online: time to meet people, demonstrate what we’ve built, listen to their needs and develop relationships face to face.

There has been plenty of discussion about the show’s reduced footprint in recent years. We recognise those concerns, but our experience this September shows that its size is only one part of the story. The quality of the conversations, the connections made and the business that follows all deserve a place in that discussion.

With Earle Stanner now leading British Marine, we see a welcome opportunity to build on those strengths and help shape the show businesses want to attend. British Marine’s commitment to developing its future format with exhibitor input is encouraging, and we’re keen to play our part in supporting that progress.

We’re incredibly grateful to British Marine and everyone involved in bringing the show together, to SWUK Marine for sharing their stand with us, and to the exhibitors who made us feel so welcome. As a growing business, it means a great deal when people take the time to visit, ask questions and share honest feedback. We were humbled by how warmly our products and services were received, and by the trust people placed in us. There are so many experienced, passionate people in this industry. Being welcomed into those conversations, and having the opportunity to learn from them, was a privilege. We came away grateful, encouraged and excited about what we can contribute.

That response has strengthened our commitment to building Tack and Jibe around the people who use it. Our marketplace is part of a wider ambition to help marine businesses save time, connect with customers and access more of the tools and services they need in one place. The relationships formed at Southampton are helping us bring that ambition to life.

To carry that momentum forward, we’re extending our Southampton Boat Show offer to all brokers who subscribe by 31 October 2026.

Brokers paying annually will receive 12 months for the price of eight, doubling our usual annual saving from two months to four.

Alongside the subscription offer, we’re giving brokers the opportunity to become early users of First Mate CRM, our smart, AI-powered brokerage CRM, which is currently in development.

We’re developing First Mate CRM in partnership with Parker Adams, True North Yachts and SWUK Marine, drawing on their experience to shape a system around the practical needs of working brokerages. Our goal is to help brokers spend less time on administration and more time supporting customers and growing their businesses.

Any broker who joins Tack and Jibe while First Mate CRM is in development will receive early access as it becomes available, together with preferential rates when the CRM goes live. This benefit will continue throughout the development period, beyond the October deadline for our extended annual subscription offer.

British Marine members will also continue to receive their 20% membership discount, whether they choose monthly or annual payments, including alongside this extended annual offer.

We have no minimum subscription term. If a broker pays annually and later decides to leave, we’ll refund the unused portion of their subscription on a pro-rata basis.

Southampton has been an important step in our journey. We’re thankful to everyone who has become part of it, and we look forward to turning the relationships formed at this year’s show into lasting collaborations.
