Arksen presents the Arksen 55, the first model in its new Adventure Series, at the Monaco Yacht Show. Made for those who push beyond the conventional, the 17.3-metre vessel offers a range of 350 nautical miles and a sprint speed of 50 knots, with hull 1 due for completion at the end of 2026.

Arksen, the British adventure yacht builder renowned for its commitment to sustainability and ocean exploration, proudly announces the launch of the Arksen 55 which has digitally debuted at Monaco Yacht Show, with hull 1 nearing the end of construction and due at the end of 2026.

Rugged, adaptable and built for active use, the Arksen 55 is designed for a self-driven, experience-led way of life. Every element, from the bow ramp to the equipment rack, is geared towards autonomy. With a range of 350 nautical miles at 25 to 30 knots and a sprint speed of 50 knots at light load, owners can cover real distance with confidence and reach new coastlines in comfort. On board, opening side windows and an aft window that opens to ninety degrees bring the saloon and the deck together as one space.

Built for generations
 

Fitting with Arksen’s philosophy to ensure all vessels are built to stand the test of time, the Arksen 55 is shaped by Finnish craftsmanship that spans generations. Designed by Jarkko Jämsén, engineered by Arksen and Aivan. Built by Kewatec, one of the finest builders of high-performance professional vessels in the world with decades of naval, rescue and Arctic vessels behind them. Every component is made to endure, so the boat can be trusted, used, and eventually passed on.

Designed from the inside out
 

The Arksen 55 provides a full-beam saloon with seamless flow, where pathways remain clear even with a full crew. Thanks to a unique four door layout and dual side walkways, foot traffic flows seamlessly around the main cabin. Whether returning from snorkelling off the aft deck or stepping off the beach via the bow ramp, guests can transition straight to the lower accommodations without disturbing anyone relaxing in the saloon raised seating area.

Below the deck, a dedicated utility area combines a galley with a practical workshop. Modular shelving holds semi-transparent boxes to keep gear organised, and a drying cabinet manages wet clothing.

A washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are housed here too, freeing up space above. The wide beam provides class-leading interior space, allowing sleeping accommodation for up to eight people. With skylights and views of the ocean in every space, coupled with the full standing headroom, it makes below deck an exceptionally comfortable place to be. The layout supports both small group trips and larger crews, as berths can be arranged for single or shared sleeping.

The defining feature of the general arrangement is the full-beam pilothouse, which brings both navigation and dining onto the main deck. The saloon connects seamlessly with the outdoors and raised seating keeps your view on the horizon.

The pilothouse seating can change from a full U-shape seating layout to an L-shape with an additional galley space depending on requirements.

The interior layout offers several accommodation configurations to suit different needs. The forward cabin includes a double berth with a private bathroom and toilet. The aft section can be arranged with different cabin layouts, providing beds for up to four people with a bathroom positioned beside the utility area, making it easy for everyone to access as a day head and shower.

Owners can choose from a multitude of packages offering capacity for dive equipment, kayaks, research tools or motorcycles.

Lifetime durability

The Arksen 55 provides uncompromising levels of safety, engineered to comply with ISO 12215 standard and built from resilient marine-grade aluminium. Each yacht is constructed at a shipyard specialising in professional vessels including first responders and search and rescue craft, bringing extreme levels of durability and seaworthiness. The double-stepped deep-V hull provides incredible seakeeping and stability with the full-length integrated fenders protecting both the vessel and everyone onboard during use.
