Subject to formal approval at the next BRBA Annual General Meeting, the following individuals have been nominated to join the Committee:
Richard Roberts, TheYachtMarket.com Ltd, has been selected as the new Chair of the BRBA. Richard brings extensive knowledge of the boat sales market and digital marine commerce, having played a significant role in helping connect buyers and sellers across the global leisure marine industry through TheYachtMarket.com.
Joining Richard in the BRBA leadership team is Claire Lindquist of True North Yachts, who has been nominated as the new Vice Chair.
Claire is passionate about promoting professionalism, transparency and high standards across the boat brokerage sector. Her customer-focused approach and commitment to helping buyers make informed decisions closely align with the BRBA's work in fostering confidence and best practice throughout the industry.
The BRBA is also delighted to welcome three new Committee members:
Each brings a diverse range of skills and perspectives from across the inland waterways, marina, brokerage and boat retail sectors. Their collective experience will help ensure the Committee continues to represent the broad interests of BRBA members throughout the UK.
In addition, Richard Pullen of TheYachtMarket.com Ltd has been nominated to join the Committee as a Co-Opted Committee Member, adding further expertise and industry knowledge to support the Committee's work.
These appointments will be formally voted on by members at the BRBA Annual General Meeting, which will take place during the British Marine Boat Retailers & Brokers Annual Dinner 2026.
