First exterior and interior designs revealed as Princess announces collaboration with renowned superyacht design studio Harrison Eidsgaard
Princess Yachts has revealed the first exterior and interior CGIs for the new Odyssey 108, its new 33-metre superyacht, marking the next major milestone in the development of the yard’s new generation of yachts over 100 feet.
The reveal also marks the beginning of a new design collaboration between Princess and renowned London-based superyacht design studio, Harrison Eidsgaard, which is working alongside the Princess design team on the interior styling of the Odyssey 108. Bringing together Harrison Eidsgaard’s experience across the large superyacht sector with Princess’s established strengths in design, engineering and craftsmanship, the collaboration forms an important part of the yacht’s development as the Odyssey programme progresses towards production.
A scale model of the Odyssey 108 will be on display on the Princess Yachts’ stand during the Monaco Yacht Show, offering visitors their first opportunity to explore the yacht’s exterior design in detail.
ODYSSEY BECOMES REALITY
A year on from announcing Odyssey, the Monaco Yacht Show marks a significant step forward for the programme. With the exterior now revealed, the first interior designs released, a physical scale model on display and the engineering programme well underway, the Odyssey 108 is moving decisively from vision to reality.
When we announced Odyssey, we set out our ambition to return Princess to the 30-metre-plus market and build on everything we have learned over more than 60 years of designing and building yachts in Plymouth. A year on, Odyssey is becoming very real. The design has progressed enormously, the engineering programme is well underway, and the successful completion of our first hull tank tests is another important milestone. The collaboration with Harrison Eidsgaard also brings an extraordinary depth of superyacht interior design experience to the programme. There is a tremendous amount of work still ahead of us but we are incredibly excited by what the teams are creating.

Princess has also announced a significant new design partnership with Harrison Eidsgaard, the internationally renowned London-based design studio.
Founded in 2005, Harrison Eidsgaard has established an international reputation for its work across yacht, aviation and residential design and has been responsible for the interiors of some of the world’s most significant superyachts. Princess is working directly with founding partners Ewa Eidsgaard and Ben Harrison, bringing the studio’s extensive experience of large custom yachts together with Princess’s established strengths in craftsmanship, engineering and considered design.
Princess is a brand we have long admired, so we are delighted to have the opportunity to work together on the interior of Odyssey. There is a real synergy between our respective approaches to design, a belief in creating something beautiful and distinctive but always with purpose, functionality and attention to detail at its heart. To have been selected to help create the interior of Princess’ first yacht over 100 feet for almost a decade is a real privilege. The Odyssey 108 takes Princess to a new scale. With a commanding presence, exceptional volume and tri-deck architecture, she has been conceived as a true passage-making superyacht, combining long-range capability and assured seakeeping with the craftsmanship, engineering and attention to detail for which Princess is renowned.
With a 277 GT, the Odyssey 108 creates an extraordinary sense of space throughout. Expansive living areas, generous proportions and an abundance of natural light bring an effortless openness to life on board, while her exterior design combines the presence of a true superyacht with elegant, purposeful proportions.
At the heart of the Odyssey 108 is a new Hybrid Fast Displacement Hull, developed in collaboration with Princess’ long-standing naval architects Olesinski. The new hull form has been engineered to combine the efficiency and range required for extended cruising with the performance and seakeeping expected of a Princess.
Development of the hull is now well underway, with extensive CFD analysis informing the development of the Hybrid Fast Displacement Hull which recently completed its first programme of physical tank testing. Validating the CFD predictions in real-world conditions is another important milestone as the hull design progresses towards production.
Engineered with the freedom of true passage-making in mind, the Odyssey 108 has a range of more than 2,600 nautical miles at nine knots, while retaining the ability to cruise at significantly higher speeds when required. Three MAN V12 engine options will be available, with the most powerful twin MAN V12X-2200 installation delivering a projected maximum speed of 19–21 knots. Alternatively, she can be equipped with twin Rolls-Royce MTU V12 2000 M96Z engines, each producing 2,222 HP.
SPACE ON A NEW SCALE
Its tri-deck architecture creates expansive living areas and generous proportions throughout, while extensive glazing and carefully considered sightlines bring natural light into the interior and maintain a strong connection with the sea.
The first interior concepts revealed at Monaco provide a glimpse of the design direction being developed jointly by Princess and Harrison Eidsgaard. Refined and contemporary, the interiors have been conceived around how owners and guests will live on board, balancing generous social spaces with areas for privacy and retreat.
The standard accommodation provides for eight guests across four cabins, with an optional five-cabin configuration accommodating up to ten. Optional Pullman berths are also available for the port and starboard twin cabins. Crew accommodation provides for five across three cabins as standard, with an optional arrangement for up to seven crew.
The first Odyssey 108 is scheduled to enter the water in 2029 ahead of her world premiere in 2030.
