SailPro is pleased to announce the appointment of GDS Limited as its sales and regional development partner for the United Kingdom.
GDS will work with SailPro to introduce the platform to sailing and yacht clubs, race organisers, coaches, boat owners and sailors throughout the UK. Its role will include market development, product demonstrations, onboarding and local support.
SailPro brings sailors, boat owners, crews, coaches, race organisers and clubs together through one connected digital platform. Its tools are designed to simplify race and event management, improve communication, support boat and crew administration, and make it easier for people to participate in sailing.
The UK launch will be led by GDS Managing Director Adrian Gray, whose experience combines commercial development within the international marine industry with an extensive background in competitive sailing and yacht-club leadership.

GDS is an established name in the UK sailing and marine sector, with strong relationships and experience extending into other parts of Europe. Just as importantly, Adrian understands sailing from several perspectives, including as a competitive sailor, club leader and marine-industry professional. Having someone on the ground who understands the needs of sailors, race teams and yacht clubs will be invaluable as we introduce SailPro to the UK market. Adrian’s sailing experience includes racing in the highly competitive J/80 class with respected sailor Kevin Sproul, involvement in the Tonnerre racing campaign, and serving the Royal Western Yacht Club of England for seven years as Rear Commodore Oceanic, three years as Vice Commodore and, most recently, as Commodore.
The launch program will include direct engagement with sailing and yacht clubs, demonstrations for race-management teams, participation at marine and sailing events, and opportunities for sailors and boat owners to register and explore SailPro.
SailPro has the potential to make sailing more connected, accessible and easier to manage. It brings many of the tools our sport needs into one platform, and we are delighted to be partnering with SailPro to develop its presence in the UK.
